1. Who we are

AVERIQ is the recruitment technology platform operated by AVERIQ GLOBAL HR SOLUTIONS - FZCO, registered at IFZA Business Park, DDP, PO Box 342001, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, under the Dubai Integrated Economic Zone / IFZA, Dubai, UAE framework.

Privacy queries and data-subject requests: privacy.averiq@averiqglobal.com

Data Protection Officer: Not currently appointed; DPO requirement under applicable data-protection law is subject to legal review.

2. Personal data we process

  • Candidates: name, email, telephone, location, employment history, education, skills, compensation expectations, CV/resume, supporting documents, interview records, recruiter notes and matching/scoring results.
  • Client contacts: organisation, contact person, business contact details and recruitment activity.
  • Platform users: name, email, role, client association, authentication metadata and audit history.
  • Workflow records: job requirements, shortlists, interviews, offers, placements and related commercial information.

Special-category or otherwise sensitive personal data is not routinely collected through the platform. Such information should only be processed where legally permitted and appropriately documented.

3. Purposes of processing

Personal data may be processed for:

  • Candidate sourcing
  • Candidate evaluation
  • Recruitment matching
  • Presenting candidates to clients
  • Client mandate management
  • Interview management
  • Offer management
  • Placement management
  • Recruitment administration
  • Invoicing and commercial administration
  • Platform security
  • Fraud and security prevention
  • Audit and accountability
  • Legal obligations

4. Legal basis

No single universal legal basis applies to all processing. Depending on the activity, the applicable legal basis may include performance of a contract or steps prior to entering a contract, legitimate interests, consent where appropriate, or compliance with a legal obligation.

The specific legal basis for particular processing activities is subject to applicable law and legal review. Subject to legal review

5. AI and talent intelligence disclosure

AVERIQ may use automated and AI-assisted technologies to:

  • Extract information from uploaded resumes and supporting documents
  • Structure candidate information into searchable fields
  • Compare candidate profiles against job requirements
  • Identify relevant skills and experience
  • Surface stored matching indicators or scores
  • Assist recruiters in prioritising candidates

AI outputs are decision-support information only.

AI-generated scores, rankings, recommendations and extracted information are not guaranteed facts and must not be the sole basis for an employment decision. Recruiters can review candidate information and exercise human judgement, and the platform records the link between the original resume, the extracted information, the AI-generated output and any manual review. Protected or sensitive characteristics must not be used for discriminatory candidate ranking. Where a stored result is unavailable, the interface shows "Not available" rather than an estimated score.

6. Human review

Resume Intelligence retains the original candidate document, the extracted information, the AI processing status, the matching result, the manual-review status, the reviewer identity, timestamps and review history. Manual corrections are recorded as human actions in the append-only audit log; they do not silently overwrite the record of what the automated process produced.

7. Who can access data

Access is enforced at the database layer, not only in the interface. Recruiters and managers see operational recruitment data according to role; client users are restricted to their own organisation and to candidates formally submitted to them; viewers are read-only; administrators manage authorised users and roles. Revenue and financial records are restricted to authorised management roles.

8. Data sharing

Candidate information may be shared with:

  • Prospective employers and client organisations
  • Recruitment clients for relevant mandates
  • Authorised service providers
  • Technology providers necessary to operate the platform
  • Authorities where legally required

Candidate information is shared only in line with authorised recruitment workflows and applicable permissions. Candidates are not exposed to unrelated client organisations.

9. International transfers

Data may be processed by technology and service providers in jurisdictions outside the United Arab Emirates where applicable. Actual providers, processing locations and transfer safeguards are maintained in an internal subprocessor/provider register and are reviewed legally. Subject to provider verification and legal review

Requests should be sent to privacy.averiq@averiqglobal.com. Requests are logged in an internal register with a request reference, requester, request type, date received, identity-verification status, assigned owner, status, action taken, completion date and audit history. Requests are handled within the timeframe required by applicable law.

The competent supervisory authority for complaints is Subject to legal review.

12. Security

Role-based access, database-level access control, tenant isolation, secure authentication, protected documents, audit logging, least privilege and secure configuration are applied. Suspected incidents are handled through identification, escalation, containment, investigation, remediation and documentation.
